Week Seven: Is your Technophobia Cured?



Almost half way. . .phew!! It must seem like only yesterday we were doing introductions. I am not completely recovered from my sinus infection. . .this is really getting ridiculous ;-)

Today: Please don't forget that EACH PERSON is responsible for bringing 3 rubrics that have you listed as the teacher. In small groups, we will be using the rubrics to grade the Power Points. After receiving feedback from your peers, correct any errors and submit the PowerPoint.

Tonight: We will begin the Inspiration assignment. . .and I will go over the Classroom 2.0/Web 2.0 Exploration, which will also be journal 7.

As always, you should have plenty of assignments to keep you busy. . .

This week's Question: Cats, Dogs, something else, or no pet. . .Explain.

    I am totally a DOG person, always was, always will be. I think having an allergy to cats might have somthing to do with that also, but as far as pets are concerned, dogs tend to be more friendly and pet worthy compared to most animals.

    I love dogs and honestly can't stand cats. (sorry to all the cat lovers out there...) I have a Scottish Terrier named Brodie and he is such a sweet, smart, and loyal dog. Brodie is a member of our family and he loves to go camping with us.

    I just love animals in general, especially dogs. But I travel way too much so we dont have one yet, all that we have is a beta fish named slim shady.

    I love all animals (actually I am not a huge fan of birds or fish, they creep me out). I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, fish (that I unfortunately inherited)and six hermit crabs. My next animal I hope will be a hedgehog but they are illegal in California, but what can I say I am a rule breaker!

    I love animals but at the moment i do not have the time or the space to have one. Once I have a stable life, then I would like to get a pet at home. Many times I have seen people not take care of their pets and I wonderwhy did they even decided to get one? ...but yes I love animals, all types of animals.

    2 dogs and a new PUPPY:)
    17 horses
    1 cockatoo parrot
    and too many birds to count that live outside in a huge cage

    Dogs...Definitely.. Really don't like cats and need to keep coming up with excuse for my oldest son why we can't get a cat.

    I had a fish but it died, that's what has happened to all my fish, because I forget about them! But I want a puggle! :) they are so cute! I can't wait to get one!

    We have two cats, Bella the "beautiful" and Onyx "the black jewel". They are quite personable and sometimes very talkative - or would that be "miau-ativo"?

    Dogs..with short hair. I had a cat once and it ran away. I didn't like that. My dg never ran away. I could have opened the front door and told him to leave and he wouldn't have. Dogs are more loyal if your good to them. You can treat a cat like royalty and then leave the door open for one second and he will bolt and forget you exist..lol

    I would probably have to say dogs. I love cats too but we had to put my cat Onion to sleep this summer who we had for 17 years (he was attacked by a coyote) :( so my heart is pretty much broken. But Onion reminded me more of a dog than a cat so my original answer stands correct. Dogs, and Onion :)

    DOGS!!!!!! I am not a cat person at all, and I am a major dog lover!! I have a golden retriever named Daizy that I spoil like crazy she is so cute!!

    I would have to say doggies! I have always had one and never a cat. My sister has a cat and i love it but he is a little too crazy for me! But to comment on Melissa...I love cats that act like dogs (:

    I love cats and dogs. I grew up among so many cats and dogs and love them equally. At the moment I do feel that I can't have pets because they involve too much responsibility. Also because I suffer from allergies and asthma.

    I love dogs and everything about them. I have had dogs my entire life and I could imagine a life without the companion of them.
    As far as cats go...I'm allergic to them.
